Hall of Ancestors.

Shui Tou Cun is my ancestoral home. This building is a hall that contains all the names of the male descendants in the Yee family. Every male newborn is added to the list. That is, until the building was closed because it was deemed unsafe.

My grandfather once told me that when he was a boy, he would sit in there and memorize the names. When it came time to do a grade seven family tree project he was able to help me trace it eleven generations back before stopping because he was tired. He passed away before I was able to ask him about the remaining generations he had memorized.
